One more thing I overlooked when drawing up my original thoughts on Pallin was how easy this makes it for the Obama campaign to play the age card with almost total impunity and complete legitimacy. I mean, John McCain is 72 — 23 years older than Alaska — and the next in line is someone who’s spent less than 2 years as a governor of a state with roughly 600,000 residents? Before that she was mayor of a town that had a population lower than the 12,000 seat arena she spoke in today? Did I mention she has absolutely no foreign policy experience, or for that matter, national domestic policy experience? Oh, and also, she names her kids after characters on Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Are you kidding me?
